Manifesta 16 Ruhr offered a wide range of free participatory activities both before and during the biennial.

Have you always wanted to:

• Weave on an old loom?
• Sharpen your gardening skills?
• Develop new ideas for furniture at St Joseph’s Church in Gelsenkirchen?
• Create your own magazine?
• Learn how to cook new dishes?
• Let your own thoughts become part of an artistic work...
• ...or even take part in a musical workshop using your neighbourhood's church bells?

Then you've come to the right place!

Below you'll find the various workshops and activities that took place.
