Accreditation for the Manifesta 16 Ruhr Preview Days is now open
Manifesta 16 Ruhr invites members of the press and professional visitors to experience the biennial ahead of the official opening during the Preview Days from the 18th to the 20th of June 2026. During these days, the twelve venues will offer exclusive insights into the artistic programme of this year’s edition.
Preview Days and Opening Hours
The Preview Days are scheduled for specific groups:
- Press Preview: Thursday, the 18th of June 2026 (13.00–19.00)
- Professional Preview: Friday, the 19th of June (10.00–19.00) and Saturday, the 20th of June (10.00–19.00)
Press representatives will also have access to the venues on the 19th and 20th of June. Please note that accreditation is person-specific and non-transferable.
Press Accreditation
Journalists and media representatives can apply for accreditation via the online form. For a successful application review, one of the following documents is required:
- An official letter of assignment signed by the respective editor-in-chief
- A scan of a valid press card
Applications submitted without the required documentation cannot be considered. Following the submission of a complete application, you will receive a response from the Manifesta 16 Ruhr team within ten working days. For specific questions regarding the press conference, please contact press@manifesta.org.
Professional Accreditation
The professional visitor programme is intended for experienced staff from cultural institutions (directors and management), universities (professors and faculty heads), former Manifesta participants, as well as partners and supporters of previous editions.
Due to limited capacity, Manifesta 16 Ruhr reserves the right to decline accreditation applications. Responses will be sent within ten working days of submitting a completed application. For further inquiries, please contact accreditation@manifesta.org.
Registration and Deadlines
Accreditation is only possible via the official online form. Applications sent by email will not be considered.
The deadline for all accreditation applications is the 15th of May 2026.
From the 21st of June 2026, Manifesta 16 Ruhr will be open to all visitors free of charge.
